Review for defence and security industry 1/2024

Dear readers,

in this first edition of the year, we bring you a number of interesting interviews, especially with important representatives of the state administration and a presentation of the Czech industry, thereby fulfilling the main mission of the magazine, which is to facilitate better communication between the state and industry in the field of the defence and security community. Just like last year, I must honestly say that the MS Line Publishing House and the editors of the Review greatly appreciate the fact that a significant part of Czech defence and security industry companies used the magazine REVIEW as well as our other media IDET NEWS and Security and Defence Technologies Catalogue of the Czech Republic for the presentation of their activities. From the DSIA CR member base, which includes approximately 170 companies, approximately 120 companies used the magazine Review for their presentation. It is an extraordinary event for us and I appreciate it very much.
On this occasion, I would like to especially thank the Representative Editorial Board, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, and their executive units – the Czech Armed Forces, the Police of the Czech Republic and the FRS CR, but also the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic, the Prison Service of the Czech Republic and the Administration of State Material Reserves of the Czech Republic for supporting our work and for active participation in the creation of the magazine. Together with representatives of the industry, it is a unique community that is outstanding in its own way and original in the Czech Republic. This is also confirmed by our reportage from the annual meeting and the awarding the best ones event at the end of the magazine. Of course, big thanks go to the Presidium of the DSIA CR, the Brno Trade Fairs, the management of the FFF and NATO Days, as well as many others for the great cooperation in 2023.
In this edition, we focused mainly on the presentation of medium-sized and small companies, and we want to continue
this trend throughout this year. We are honoured that even our Publishing House and editors could, at least to a small extent, contribute to the success of the Czech defence and security industry in the form of more than twenty-five years of support and promotion at home and abroad. I believe that our publishing plan for 2024 will fully satisfy everyone who wants to participate in this communication.
